Ivanhoe considers the Athabasca oil sands to be a strategic growth area for the company. The Tamarack Project will be the home for Ivanhoe's first HTL technology deployment in Canada, but Ivanhoe believes there is scope for significant additional growth in the region using its patented HTL process.
