Ivanhoe Energy's objective is to create shareholder value by sourcing, negotiating and developing heavy oil opportunities as well as other oil and gas projects. Our heavy oil advantage includes the application of our proprietary HTL upgrading process.
Conventional oil and gas activities take place under Sunwing Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary. Sunwing's operations include: the production of oil in Dagang, Hebei Province, gas exploration in Zitong, Sichuan Province and light oil exploration in Mongolia.
Ivanhoe Energy's shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol "IE" and on the NASDAQ under the symbol "IVAN".
