- Kamran Jorshari featured in the January 2013 Journal Of Canadian Petroleum Technology
February 15, 2013 Kamran Jorshari, Ivanhoe Energy's Senior Director of Upstream Engineering is featured in the January 2013 issue of the Journal Of Canadian Petroleum Technology . His paper is entitled: A New SAGD-Well-Pair Placement: A Field Case Review.
Kamran joined Ivanhoe Energy on January 7, 2013 and is responsible for all Subsurface activities related to Tamarack. He joined Ivanhoe Energy with more than 25 years of experience in heavy oil operations, resource management and steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) field development. Kamran has a Ph.D. in Petroleum and Civil Engineering and an M.Sc. in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, both from the University of Calgary, as well as a B.Sc. in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering from Tehran University.
